AA History: An interview with Lois W (3+ hours)

This episode of Sober Cast is not an AA speaker, if you need to hear a meeting please pick a different episode, this is a bit of AA history. 

The June 24th episode of Sober Cast was Bill B telling his story, he was the author of the screenplay for the 1989 movie My Name is Bill W., as the author of the screenplay he spent considerable time interviewing Lois W. the wife of Bill W.

This Sober Cast consists of the three hours of interviews that he did with Lois regarding her life with Bill and the formation AA and Al-Anon. It is a really excellent quality recording of Lois speaking in great detail about her life before and after Bill got sober and became the co-founder of AA.

Workshop: There Is a Solution - Sandy B and Bob B (3.5 hrs)

Sandy B and Bob B lead this workshop on the topic of: There Is a Solution. I have no information about this workshop other than it was recorded in 2004.  Sandy B is a very well known speaker in AA and did speaks and led workshops all over the world for many years. There is some Q & A toward the end and it is impossible to hear the questions, I removed the dead gaps of the questions so they jump right to answers, you can pretty much understand the question by the answer.

About once a year I get an email asking me why in the podcast opening do I say that this "Is a podcast for men". I just got another and thought I might try to put this to rest, I am NOT saying that, I am saying "In a podcast format". When I listen to it nothing about it sounds like Im saying "for men" rather than "format" but  apparently some of you hear "for men" I assure you the word is format!
