Sunday Jun 30, 2019
On the last day of pride month we are featuring multiple LGBTQ speakers from the 2015 ICAA conference sharing on the topic of, Lesbians & Gays in AA - Focus on Our Primary Purpose.
Sober Cast does try to provide a diverse selection of people on the podcast, however the vast majority of available recordings tend to skew to one demographic. If you have recordings that are LGBTQ, people of color, or folks from outside the US (english speakers) that you could share with us we would be very grateful. They can be uploaded here http://cduck.us/podup

Monday May 27, 2019
I first heard Robyn at the Living Sober Western Round Up, his story was one that has always stuck with me.
I really wanted to include him in this podcast & spent a few hours looking through the archives at the Living Sober website trying to find the year he spoke in the old programs. I could not remember his last initial or where he was from, but I did remember his first name, eventually I found it in the archives and was able to find this speak from 2000 in Houston. (LGBTQ) Repost NSFW
I have cleaned this up fairly well but the last third has a bit of background noise.

Aubu speaking at the Big Apple Roundup in November of 1994. I particularly liked the story about what he did that got him to go to his first meeting of AA. LGBTQ
My thanks to those of you that took the time to respond to the 1 question survey last week. The question was: What would you like to hear? The majority of the responses was (by quite a bit). "I like the current mix of single speakers to workshops"... so that is what we will continue to do, but we will ask again and your input is welcome anytime, my email address is:
