Al-Anon: Topic - The 4 Phases to Growth (Multiple Speakers)

This is a topic Al-Anon meeting on the 4 Phases to Growth featuring four speakers (all men). I couldn't find out a lot about this other than it was a 34th. Annual Conference held in Michigan sometime in 1986. I assume it was an Al-Anon conference since all the other speakers I have from it identify as Al-Anon.

Lastly it cleaned up really well and is an easy listen but during the last 2 speakers there is an occasional crackling popping sound I couldn't remove, its not that annoying...fyi.

Multiple Speakers: Walter (3 yrs) and Alissa (4 yrs) NSFW

Walter is the 10 min opening speaker, he has been sober for just over 3 years, followed by Alissa as the speaker for the balance of the meeting, she has been sober for 4 years. They are both speaking at the North Oakland AA Open speaker meeting held in Oakland California in March of 2018. NSFW

AA History: Formation of AA in Eastern Europe

This sounds a bit fuzzy for the first 4 min then it clears right up. This one is a bit of AA history and a bit of nostalgia for your podcaster since I was at this meeting. In 1995 AA held its 60th Anniversary Conference in San Diego California with 56,000 people in attendance.

The theme for the convention was A.A. Everywhere – Anywhere. It was the very first time many Eastern European countries had been able to attend an international AA event including Russia. This meeting features members speaking about their first encounter with AA and the founding of AA in multiple Eastern Europe countries and in Russia.

Workshop: Step 4 - Sex Inventory

This is a 4th Step Workshop held in Mankato Minnesota in 2008 hosted by an unknown group, this part of the workshop focuses specifically on the sex conduct portion. This was a very straightforward presentation going through the topic with a sentence by sentence breakdown from the big book with a solid lack of opinion by the two guys that hosted it. Workshop: Safety Inclusivity and Diversity In AA (NSFW)

This is a workshop that took place in Medford Oregon on the topic of Safety, Inclusivity and Diversity in AA from June of 2020. Five folks of different backgrounds deal with a number of different topics discussing their personal struggles, challenges and solutions regarding safety, inclusivity and diversity in AA. This was early days in the pandemic so zoom bombing is also a topic. NSFW - Zoom

I removed all the "how to participate" discussion at the beginning (and a ton of announcements at the end) so it feels like it just jumps right in and then out at the end. I also removed a number of spots of dead air between some of the comments and speakers and marked this as NSFW simply because some of the topics might not be appropriate at some workplaces.

Workshop: Step 4 - All 5 Parts (4.75 hrs)

Rick and Bob are the workshop leads, it was held in Mankato Minnesota in 2008, I dont have any other information about this workshop.

The audio quality is good but there is some mike noise as each section starts, it doesnt last more than 45 seconds or so. There are some audibility issues as they do Q & A throughout the sessions but the answers make the inaudible questions fairly clear and lastly, I put a brief click track between parts.
