Sober Cast: An (unofficial) Alcoholics Anonymous Podcast AA

This is a call up meeting at the 3rd Annual Columbia River Young Peoples Roundup from September of 1978. The topic of the meeting is On Awakening and has a number of folks in the audience coming up and sharing on the topic.

If you have any recordings of young peoples events you are willing to share please email me, I feel like this is one area my speaker resources are a bit weak.

About once a year I get an email asking me why in the podcast opening I say that this "Is a podcast for men". I am saying "In a podcast format". When I listen to it nothing about it sounds like Im saying "for men" rather than "format" but  apparently some of you hear "for men" I assure you the word is format!

Myra D is our opening speaker today, she is the 10 min. speaker at this meeting at the Northwest Fellowship Of The Spirit Conference held in Warm Beach Washington in August of 2022. Madison B has been sober for 27 years, she is the main speaker for the rest of the meeting. LGBTQ

We have multiple speakers on the topic of - Other Higher Powers - at the Victoria Australia VicYPAA Round up held in 2012. This had a nasty echo and I was able to remove the bulk of it, you might notice the applause sounding a bit weird because of that. NSFW

Jordan opens this meeting at the North Oakland AA speaker meeting as the 10 min. speaker, she is followed by Justin as the main speaker at a meeting held May 2016. Justin was 8 years sober at the time of his speak and became sober at 17.
