Alabam C is from Hollywood CA, she became sober in 1953 and she is telling her story at St Andrews speaker group in Saratoga CA in 1982, she has a great sense of humor and carries quite a message. Repost from about 3 years ago, she is one of my favorites.

It has been a while since we have had one of the really old timers on the podcast, so today we have Dewey S, a chronic inebrist from Cleveland Ohio, he is one of the first 100 members of AA.
Dewey is speaking in Modesto California in January of 1969 at an unknown event. The quality of this recording is excellent it cleaned up very well.
