This is the second part of a two part workshop on Emotional Sobriety was led by Joe & Charlie (yes that Joe and Charlie) along with John W, it was held at the Wilson House in 1990. This part touches on the emotional sobriety of the group and AA as a whole. Part 2 of 2. Part 1 was published yesterday and knowing folks will ask, just making it easier to find part 2. This is the full 8 hour presentation of: A Mind Power Disease by Bob A, he is one of the folks that founded the Prime Time groups out of Los Angeles. He is speaking at a Retreat held in Auburn California in August 1994, he was 43 years sober at the time of this event.
Last month I put up part one and a ton of you emailed asking for the rest of the workshop, so here it is all 7 parts and 8 hours long. This jumps right in and it also ends a bit abruptly .
The audio quality of this was all over the map and it took forever to get it edited and evened out, overall its good with a few short fuzzy spots. I put about one second of click track between each of the 7 sessions so you know where they stop and start, and lastly if you are bandwidth aware you might want to grab this on wifi its about 250 megs.

Ron C is from Atlanta Georgia and became sober in 1985 he is leading a workshop on Emotional Sobriety at the 44th Oceanfront Conference held in Virginia Beach Virginia in February of 2020.

This is a 4th Step Workshop held in Mankato Minnesota in 2008 hosted by an unknown group, this part of the workshop focuses specifically on the sex conduct portion. This was a very straightforward presentation going through the topic with a sentence by sentence breakdown from the big book with a solid lack of opinion by the two guys that hosted it. If anyone out there has a workshop on this topic presented by women I would love to post that, please email me.

Tim M is a member of AA and Al-Anon and in this podcast he is speaking as a member of Al-Anon at an event held in Jerusalem in 2018. About a week ago I put up the opening speak from this event and had quite a number of folks email asking to hear the entire event, so here it is.
A couple of things to be aware of, the first recording wasn't too bad but the subsequent recordings were really harsh in their tone and had a loud and nasty hiss. I managed to get out the hiss and mellow the harshness quite a bit, but its not perfect. This event had a translator live so occasionally you will hear chatter in the background, that's the translation. Lastly I put a couple of seconds of click track between the sessions so it wouldn't all blend together... overall its quite listenable but fyi.
This is also the first long Al-Anon workshop I have uploaded and Im happy to do more if you like, but I dont have any... so if you do and care to share please visit the Sober Cast website and click the upload a speaker link (its under podcasts). A couple of days ago I was part of a meeting for a group that was trying to organize themselves into a fellowship rather than a bunch of meetings, that always brings the traditions to mind and it got me thinking about this.
A really well done workshop conducted by Norma A on the 12 Traditions. The history of, and a detailed explanation of each tradition. This workshop was given in 2014 so it also has mention of social media. Repost from early 2017.
