Lorna K from Manhattan New York was 39 years sober at the time of this speak at the Rule 62 Roundup in Hebron Kentucky in August of 2015. Lorna is one of my favorite speakers, she is funny, self deprecating and carries a solid message of recovery.

This is a panel meeting on Steps 4 and 5 held at the Fellowship of the Spirit Roundup hosted in Utah in late 2011. I really like the format they used for this meeting, the chairperson reads a bit of the book chosen by each speaker, then the speakers share on that reading in relation to their experience with the step.

Sister Bea M got sober in 1978, she is telling her story at the Hawaii Regional Conference held in 2003. If you have never heard Sister Bea she is a delightful and direct speaker with great humor, and she always delivers a solid message of recovery.

Polly P has been on the podcast a few times but always a member of AA (sober 39 years), today she is sharing as a member of Al-Anon at the Buffalo Fall Convention held in Buffalo New York in 2016. Al-Anon is how she was listed on this recording and I went with it, but grain of salt.

Sister Maurice D is from the Bronx and is speaking at the 7th. Annual Sunlight of the Spirit Conference held in York PA in 2004.
Sister Maurice is a very good speaker and was a bit of a circuit speaker back in the day, she carries a great message and delivers it with humor and kindness. I last featured her back in April and have a few other speaks by her on the podcast, she is one of my favorite speakers, always makes me smile. FYI.. it ends a bit abruptly as she is saying her thank-you. Repost from mid 2021.

Chuck C speaking in at 36 years sober on the topic the Practice of Surrender – Ceasing to Fight at the Top of Texas Roundup held in Amarillo Texas held in October of 1978. Chuck was the source of the book "A New Pair Of Glasses" and was a hugely popular speaker in his time in. Usually recordings this old are pretty bad, but this one has excellent sound quality.
