If you have never been to a Young Peoples event (your age does not matter) the energy and passion of the participants never fails to impress. Yesterday we had a guy named Otto speaking and today we have a guy named Otto speaking, I listened to this while looking for the first guy and liked his speak...so its 2 Ottos in 2 days.
Otto W is from Richland Washington, he got sober in 1959 and is telling his very colorful story at the Inland Empire Roundup held in 2005.
If you are in Central California in March and are in the mood for a Big Book workshop, I just added one to the event list taking place in Visalia in a couple of weeks. Next week there is one in Jacksonville Florida if you are on that end of the country. Details: https://scast.us/events

I had an email this week from someone looking to hear a speak by a guy named Otto (a Vietnam veteran), well as it turns out I have more than one Otto that spent some time there, so lets hope this the guy or you may have another Otto tomorrow.
Otto M, sober in 1985 and from Plano Texas is telling his story at 19th. Annual Crested Butte Mountain Conference held in 2002.

Jason J is speaking at the January 2024 Sobriety Under the Sun Convention held in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. There is an occasional audio artifact in this one I couldnt remove, its not constant or very annoying but...fty its there.

Update on the discussion survey from the last week, I was surprised by how many people responded (thank you for doing that) the vast majority were in favor of it, so I am going to move forward with it. It will be a private forum, that was in the lead by quite a bit followed by discord then a facebook group and all the rest after that. It surprised me a bit I was thinking it would be discord but it was a distant second. It will take me a couple of weeks to get it set up, forums have a million settings to tweak and Ill make it as private as I can. I will let you know as soon as its ready, again thank you.

Update on the discussion survey from the last week, I was surprised by how many people responded (thank you for doing that) the vast majority were in favor of it, so I am going to move forward with it. It will be a private forum, that was in the lead by quite a bit followed by discord then a facebook group and all the rest after that. It surprised me a bit I was thinking it would be discord but it was a distant second. It will take me a couple of weeks to get it set up, forums have a million settings to tweak and Ill make it as private as I can. I will let you know as soon as its ready, again thank you.
