Dr Bob the other founder of AA is our speaker today. He is telling his story about his first 14 years in AA, this was recorded in 1949. The end if this speak (about 6 min) is a bit of Dr Bobs last talk in 1950.
There are no where near as many recordings of Dr Bob as there are of Bill W and the ones that are around are generally fairly bad, this one had a nasty hum, but it cleaned up really well and is one of the best I have heard of Dr Bob. Repost from 2018.

Jack P got sober in 1946 and is telling his story in 1966 in Vallejo California at an unknown event. Excellent audio quality for something recorded almost 60 years ago.

AA founder Bill W speaking at an unknown event in Des Moines Iowa in Nov of 1948. Many of the recordings of Bill are him speaking on a specific topic, this one is not, he simply tells his story and how it leads to the creation of AA. This is a great quality recording for 1948. Repost

I was in an old timey mood when I went browsing for todays speak and came across this speaker in my 1950's folder. Gene F had his first taste of AA in 1942 but didnt get sober until 1959. I have no idea where or when this was recorded.

Johnny H is telling his story at the NCCAA Summer Conference held in Santa Rosa California in June of 1968, he was 27 years sober at the time, he got sober in 1941.

Ebby T - An early member of AA referred to as Bill W's sponsor, speaking in San Jose in 1962. Well worth a listen if you are interested in early AA. Pretty good audio quality for the 60's Repost
Ebby is credited with introducing Bill to the initial principles that AA would soon develop, such as one alcoholic talking to another. If you would like to learn more about Ebby there is a very good book about him "Ebby: The Man Who Sponsored Bill W."
He sparked the creation of AA but was unable to maintain long term sobriety. Bill always called Ebby his "sponsor," and even though he had returned to drinking, Bill looked after his friend's welfare for the rest of his life. Ebby struggled on and off with sobriety over the years, and ultimately died sober in 1966.

Tom I got sober in 1957 and leads this meeting from 2001 on the topic of Working With Others. I have no idea where event this was recorded, or what the event was. I really enjoy listening to this guy, hes one I tend to forget about and Im going to try to post more from him.

This one may not be for everyone just because of the sound, there is a bit of a hollow sound to it, along with a slight echo. I think its very listenable, it cleaned up pretty well for something recorded at founders day in Akron Ohio in 1965. We have Bruce M sharing about AA and some of his story, he got sober in 1945.

Bill W. speaking twice at Founders Day in Akron OH in 1965. This is the best quality recording of Bill I have ever heard.
In the first half of this speak Bill talks about how AA began and about the earliest days of AA
The second speak, at the Mayflower Hotel in Akron Ohio is about how the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous was written, the project and the actual writing and then how the Big Book was first printed and published. Repost from early 2017.
