This is AA founder Bill W speaking on each of the 12 traditions one at a time. I had posted a version of this in 2019, and recently came across this recording of the same speak with much better audio quality. That being said it took quite a while to get it cleaned up and it was missing the last 4 min. so I added the missing part from another copy . The quality is excellent except for the very end, this audio is from a film that was intended to be shown in AA meetings. I dont know exactly when it was made but it was after Dr Bob's death.

ESH: Geraldine D - Bill W got her sober in 1947

Geraldine D from Blairstown New Jersey was in Towns hospital seven times, Bill W was her friend and helped her get sober in 1947, she is telling her story at the 52nd Founders celebration . She is one of my favorite old time speakers and was 87 at the time of this speak.

ESH: Frank S from Cleveland Ohio sober in 1940

This one is a bit of old timey AA, we have Frank S from Cleveland Ohio, he got sober in 1940 and is speaking at 23 years sober in Chautauoua New York.  This was recorded in 1963 and is a very listenable.

ESH: Chuck C got sober in 1946 - speaking in 1963

Chuck C. from Laguna Beach CA speaking at the Texas State Convention in San Antonio TX in June of 1963. Chuck is one of my favorite old timey AA speakers, he is the author of the much loved book "A New Pair of Glasses". Chuck got sober in 1946 and he died a sober member of AA in 1984 and his wife Elsa C was a long time member of al-Anon. For a recording this old it is excellent quality.

Holly M from Ann Arbour Michigan got sober in 1954, she tells her story at the at 35th Kentucky AA Convention held in February of 1985. Holly was a very popular speaker back in her time and I have many speaks by her.

AA History: Dr Harry Tiebout and Bill W

Dr Harry Tiebout speaking on the danger of ego among other topics is the bulk of this recording. He is followed by  comments from Bill W, they were speaking in Long Beach California in July of 1960.

Dr Tiebout served on the Board of Trustees of Alcoholics Anonymous from 1957 to 1966 and was president of the National Council on Alcoholism from 1951 to 1953. He was a crucial part of the birth of AA.

The West-side Womens Group in Cleveland Ohio celebrates their 20th Anniversary Meeting with this speak from Howard B sober just under 20 years himself at the time this was recorded in 1960. Excellent quality for a recording thats 61 years old.
